can anyone help?

my great aunty was a teacher at Fonthill Road School KIrkdale her name was
Miss George then later i don't know the year she became Mrs Stevenson/Steven i'm not sure,

how do i find out what other schools she taught at and her granmother Emily leathwood?

any ideas would help thanks

Do you have any years?to tell us when she was a teacher.I don't know about school records,but thought you might have some luck finding a bit of info in the on line Historical directories.

The local education authority will possible hold the employment records but I doubt that they will search them for you.
Teachers were all supposd to be registered - The registration records up until 1947 are on line on a pay for view site: www.originsnetwork.com/help/popup-helpbo-teachers.htm
Like most things connected with goverment there are rules governing the release of information till after a given number of years  - hence the 1947 cut off.
