Hi, Janet,
Thank you for that snippet of info. I will pass it on to Ted. He is quite overwhelmed at the response he has received as he knew very little about his family.

I know the feeling only to well. I started with so very little just 6 years ago after my daugter was married. I have been so surprised and at times quite shocked as to what I have found, far to much to list on here. Only to say my mother was so victorian and would turn in her grave if she knew just how much I have found. So my best wishes to Ted and I would be only to happy to send on any more I have on my side of the wragg family. regards Janet

Hi, Janet,
Your message made me smile!! If only we knew what a can of worms we would sometimes turn up, would we have started! Today's youngsters think they know it all but the Victorians knew far more but kept it 'under wraps'. How clever they were!!
Any info would be appreciated by Ted it just means starting with him all over again, but I enjoy it. That's what genealogy is all about & I enjoy it.
Kind regards,
Rob.

So how did you get from the Wragg family to the Cook(e)/Wagg family or did I miss something along the way post wise?

my great grandfather was given the name of John Wagg Cooke, however the name does change over the years from Wagg to Wragg.. Mary Wragg married William Cooke in Norfolk. It is only a very small conection but I was happy to try to help someone !!!
