Have a John Friday B c 1752 according to I.G.I born Woking
married Martha Foster 11.1.1777 by license on the banns of marriage it says John Friday of this parish of dorking bachelor i am unable to find a birth for him in dorking where
else could he have been born
any help appreciated

The record for his birth on the IGI is submitted, so no parish record was found (at least by that submitter).

All you can do expand the geography. Residence for a marriage was where he lived, not where he was born.
