ok so you are a little way away. i lived in sydney for 10 years. i came back 5 years ago when my nan got sick. i do really miss it and all my friends there. i have spoken to my mum who wants to do a trip to horsley grave yard and to the glos registry, though they may be at stroud. i will look into that next week and let you know anything i can find out. i found there were 20 browns in horsley in 1841 and i think peters brother may have been a celeb. will have to do some digging to find that out.
did you emmigrate or did your parents and which part are you in.

Although this site is called Rootschat it is not for personal chat  so I have sent you a personal message. I hope you can contact me as I have some info that might be useful  to you before you go to Horsley. It is the little green icon on the left. You may need to go to the home page and read the "how to use Rootschat" it is a bit fiddly for beginners but there is a lot of help available.
