                sorry not been on here for a while. but trying to find time to get back into  it. yes Annies family definitely spent some time in Wales and i too heard that they could speak welsh.  i still have no info on Williams Family and have not been able to find any trace before there marriage. maybe i should search under Smith.
 Nettie have we been in touch before along while ago?

Hi Matilda hope that this is of some help 1911 census Axbridge, Sumerset, Gypsies in Caravan, William Loveridge 30 wife Annie 31 and children Annie 11 William 9 Jonas 7 and Alice 3, i think that William's father Thomas and Annie's father Cornelius were first cousins.

            thanks thats them but cant find William before that on any census or a birth/baptism . i have Cornelius on 1901 census with other children. have yet to find thomas. would you know who Thomas's
Parents are?

Thomas's father was William Loveridge but i don't know who hes mother was? i can only find Thomas on the 1871 census at Clapham in Bedfordshire Thomas Loveridge (travelling Gypsy) 48 wife Susan 46 and children Selina 15 Emanuel 13 Riley 11 Susan 9 Thomas 2 and Tryfhena 1 month, they also had John in 1876 (my great grandfather) and William in 1878.

Thanks , William has been a brickwall of mine for years.  i have his and Annies wedding cert and them on 1901 and 1911, but that was it.  will have a look for the 1871 census for thomas and Susan.  will give me another direction to hunt out, thanks again
