ROBINSON-Hensall
« on: Thursday 16 December 04 23:33 GMT (UK) »
Hello out there!

I'm wondering whether anyone has any interests in the Robinsons living in Hensall for most if not all of the 1800's. (the answer's probably "no", but what the heck!)
I've got as far back as Thomas, born in Burn about 1796, married to Sarah, father of Mark and Bessy,  but there are a few gaping holes I'd like to fill.
If there's the slightest chance that any of these names mean anything to anyone I'd love to hear from you.

Andy

Hello Andy and welcome to RootsChat.

If you would like to post specific details of the people you are searching for with as much information as possible, I'm sure someone will be able to fill a few of those gaping holes for you.

Best wishes.

Jill and Ticker, thanks for the welcome!
I've posted a census lookup request but haven't received any replies as of yet.
I'm specifically looking for 1841 census information about the Robinsons living in the WRY.
In particular Thomas, Sarah, Mark and Bessy (as mentioned in my original post), but any more would be appreciated and unexpected.
A number of Robinsons drift in and out of the area over the years so I'm trying to sort out the wheat from the chaff as regards who is actualy related to who, and am hoping the details of the 1841 cebsus will help me with that.

Many thanks
Andy
