Shepton Parochial Charities 1867
« on: Wednesday 22 August 07 14:39 BST (UK) »
Thomas Rich from London donated land to Shepton Beauchamp for poor boys to be educated (this is on a plaque within St Michael's Church) - I need to know when this was and anything at all about Thomas Rich eg was he related to Eliza who is remembered on a plaque also in St Michaels's church, Shepton Beauchamp?  My connection is Mary and Charles Rich who were buried at that church at the end of 19th C.  I am trying to find any connection there may have been or whether it is all just coincidence!  Can anyone help please?  Little Mac

Hi there

Have you had a look on the Shepton Beauchamp web site at

Not sure whether this is the same charity, but they may be able to help?
