Hi All
Ok. I have been in contact wiht the Leeds Local history library regarding the Electoral Registers - very helpful people.
asked them to check the 1926 as that was when Fred signed up giving that previous address - this is their findings.
1921 a George Tilburn living there - no wife showing up.
So they jumped to the 1926 as per request and found a George Edwin Tilburn living there with a Martha Theresa Tilburn they have taken a stab in the dark and made the assumption that this must be George's 2nd marriage. So took a small step back and looked on the 1918 and found a George and Hannh Tilburn together. Now going on the 1901 census there was a George and Hannah who had a son George Edwin Tilburn aged 6 born Leeds living at 98 Pemberton Tee Hunslet with older children.
So having this info I then looked on the 1891 census for the full family as there was no Elizabeth tilburn showing, there name had been transcribed as TELBURN, see below
Telburn, Ada
3 Leeds, Yorkshire Daughter Hunslet Yorkshire
Telburn, Annie
9 Boroughbridge, Yorkshire Daughter Hunslet Yorkshire
Telburn, Edith M
4 Bishop Auckland, Durham Daughter Hunslet Yorkshire
Telburn, Elizabeth
12 Boroughbridge, Yorkshire Daughter Hunslet Yorkshire
Telburn, Fanny
14 Boroughbridge, Yorkshire Daughter Hunslet Yorkshire
Telburn, Florence L
11 Boroughbridge, Yorkshire Daughter Hunslet Yorkshire
Telburn, George
39 Boroughbridge, Yorkshire Head Hunslet Yorkshire
Telburn, Hannah
33 Boroughbridge, Yorkshire Wife Hunslet Yorkshire
Now what I can't find is Elizabeth rough age 22 born where it says she was born, tried Parker incase she married at age 18 upwards but no joy unless Frederick Parker was her second husband and it wasn't stated on her son's birth cert. There is one who came close as Tilburn but she is still at home with her parents aged 20.
so your valuable help is till needed .
