Boesse family of Quebec

I am searching for information in Quebec concerning Edward Boesse, who married Anna Campbell, in Quebec before the birth of their son, who was born in Sept., of 1838. That son was named Edward D. Boesse. They had another son named Oscar P. Boesse, who was born in ca. 1848-51. The couple had moved to the United States for awhile, but returned to Quebec at some point, and their sons used to visit them there. It is said that Edward Boesse was born in France, but his being born in Quebec is a distinct possibility. Anna Campbell was said to have been born in Quebec. The couple most likely died there. Their surname was spelled variously as: Bosse, Bosey, Bossie, and finally Boesse. This family had connections to Hancock, MA. and Berlin, N.Y. in the United States. Can anyone help find information concerning this family in Quebec? Any help at all would be very much appreciated.

 and Canada Resources for Quebec...There are a few lookups sites listed....and the name Boësse being an unusual name, perhaps they might find something for you... Quebec genealogy is certainly always a toughie....
