AHa - those Mumford births look possible - but it means that she moved house during the 'Mumford' era.

She remains static in 1881 and 1891 (the Saunders and Bennet eras - the men come to her!!)

Where was she in 1871? Do we have an address more than just Plymouth?

But 1875-7 ish she is in Plympton.
(Dont know the area, sounds nearby! But far enough away to be a different registration area!)

Hi Again
Plymton is in Plymouth reg district

The Agnes Mumford birth is in the index under the Registration District 'Plymton St Mary' - so that is a separate reg district to Plymouth. The index only gives registration districts, not parishes within those districts.

see
http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/plympton%20st%20mary.html
for parishes within Plympton St Mary reg distr

Hi

This woman is keeping me busy ..lol ..I have to keep remembering her different surnames for each census ...i was going to look her up under Mumford ..LOL

in 1871 she is still in Charles Plymouth...different street ... 6 Pottery Court.

In 1881:
Charles Newton , the Mumford and the Saunders children are stated as being born in Plymstock .....

Liz ..I also noticed that marriage in 1907 ...I thought that if Henry Maine was on that page I would have fallen out of my chair ....Henry Maine was the 71 year Lodger who was living with her in 1901 .....  ;D ;D
