amazing!
I lead such a mundane life!

I think this is one where a few certs are going to be a MUST to see what the various hubbys died of, and whether she describes herself as widow or what on her marriage to Mumford.

I am in awe of this woman .... It gets so confusing when looking at all the censuses ....there are so many children ...she could not possibly have had all of them ...I am sure that some of them were the husband's by their first marriages ... although , who knows at this stage ....

maybe I should type out all the census so that we can see what's going on ... I keep having to refer back , which is soooo time consuming, in order to try and keep things in order.

If Mary's maiden name was Blackler, it means that her 1st 2 children were born before she married ...Blimey Blimey  :o :o

Hi
Almost certain it was Blackler. But same as you found her marriage to Thomas after George was born. George was my G Grandfather we know charles went to Canada died c1923 of TB he also has family there George died in South Africa in 1904 he was in the Army Dragoons 3rd and a sgt died of liver complaint. mary was a girl wasnt she !! all them Husbands and children beggers beleif? I never found a death for Thomas and on Georges marriage cert says sailor Royal Navy and that was 1897 but could have been dead by then as not all certs were correct were they.

Regards Val

3 x Charles
2 x George

Saunders age 9, Newton age 8  , Mumford age 7, but married to Saunders currenty

Must be several children who were from the various husbands previous marriages, and not MAry's
