sorry I cannot find the thread  that was posted a few weeks ago about people who are complaining about the connections with their broadbands  :( :(
Can i ask if anyone is with Talk Talk and is it a good move to make .At the moment I am with Orange and every now and then I have to connect up again with my speed touch .

We're not with TalkTalk but there is a running topic in our weekend paper about how awful they are.  I'm sure all providers have some disgruntled customers but TalkTalk does seem to stand out - see http://paler.com/forums/message-view?message_id=4857

I would like to disagree there,

I may sound like the minority but I have had no problems with talk talk since I joined them over a year ago.

The only issue I have had with them was my bb connection.  I was advised that it would be active around the middle of aug 06, but it wasnt, so I phone ofcom who gave me the complaints number.  I spoke to someone that day, who advised me that there had been no order, and promised to have it on within 7 days.
Sure enough in 4 days my bb was active, and I didn't have to pay the activation fee.

And I haven't had a problem since.

I did fill in the forms over a year ago to have talk talk when I got my new mobile phone
At the time it was to be free but for some reason I was not connected I took 3 MAC codes to them and still got no reply .They have an offer on just now if you sign up with Talk Talk Broadband and buy the senata sport programme for £9.99 a month you get a free digital freeview tn box

We have freeview and thought it would be OK to have the sport programme , but I don't want any trouble with the connections if it is the same as Orange
