This came up blank in my two sources I'm afraid. Found some Lakens, but no Isaac among them and no Takens.

Dijon,

Have you seen his mention on the Old Bailey site, giving evidence in 1829?

Hello Shaun,

Yes, this gave me a clue as to his whereabouts in 1829.

I'm assuming this was the Isaac born in 1777 and not his son born c1812.

I have a grey area from 1800 to 1837 with no baptisms or burials.

Hello, Dijon,

This may be of some help.

There is ( or was) a burial ground in Gibraltar Row, Bethnal Green in the Spitalfields area.  I have a 3 x Grgrandfather buried there in 1836.

These records are kept at the National Archives, Kew, record RG8/305-314 & they are indexed.

Hi Shaun, sorry to but in on this thread but what resources do you have for looking up London burials?  Virtually all my mothers family are from there so it might be worth me coughing up some cash to look for them
