Comins Family from Cheam
« on: Sunday 12 August 07 22:19 BST (UK) »
Can anyone assist with the family of Thomas Richard Comins and Ethel Comins from Cheam in Surrey,   They lived there around the 1900's but I dont seem to be able to find them anywhere.   CWGC lists them as coming from that area but I fear they may have come from somewhere else but keep drawing blanks. Anyway heres hoping.

I believe that Thomas Richard Comins was born 1889 and registered at Wansworth...Ethel I'm not sure about she may even have come from Yorkshire, They had a son Thomas Edward he was born 1920/21 and died in 1941 ...sorry but that all I have at the moment..

Yes I found the death of their son.

Thomas E.
age 20
Warminster 5a 276
Q jul/aug/sep

If I have found the right family then Ethel's maiden name may be Robinson as they have their mother-in-law in residence with them ;D

I have to go feed my cats. By the time I get back someone else will probably be helping as well.

Sorry to confuse. I meant Mary E's in the 1891 census - her maiden name may be Robinson.

I have also found the marriage registration for Thomas Comins and Ethel Biffen in 1917. If you don't have that info let me know.
