Hi - not sure if anyone can help, but am trying to locate absent voters list for manchester and eastbourne, to look up Frank Purcell.

As far as I know there are no surviving Absent Voters Lists for East Sussex. I have made extensive enquiries in the past at the East Sussex Record Office who have always denied knowledge of its existence - unless of course they have made any new discoveries in the last year or so...
West Sussex is wonderful, with complete lists for 1918 and several subsequent years held at the West Sussex Record Office, Chichester.
