Alice ISHERWOOD
« on: Saturday 04 August 07 22:07 BST (UK) »
Looking for the birth of Alice Isherwood around 1838 in Bolton.  She came to Australia and married a Samuel Standring Stewart in 1856.  Her father was Samuel Isherwood - mother unknown.
Thanks

Hi Teena,

I have Alice among my extended family, in that her husband was my g-g grandfather's brother. I saw the entry suggested by Ricky above, and would add that it is the only one I've found where an Alice appears to be the daughter of a Samuel, although it is difficult to be sure on the 1841 census.

Best wishes

Stuart.
