Can I ask, what is I.G.I extract ?
 Thank-you and take care....Joyce(Canada)

the IGI is the international geneological index taken from the mormons site latter day saints.
as far as i know there are two kinds of records submitted and extracted the submitted ones don't seem to be that reliable.they are sumbmitted by a member of the public.
the extracted records are much more reliable
i believe they are extracted bits taken from the original records.
i'm sure if i have got this wrong some other roots chatter will write in and correct me.
do you want me to look further back and forward with regard to the hall family.

Hi, Thanks for the info regarding I.G site.
I have Edwin /Elizabeth ,myggggrandparents, from  1851 onwards to 1901 from Census. anything you could find regarding William and Martha would be a wonderful bonus, what I have been pondering over is where William s birthplace. But any info you find will fill in gaps for me i'm sure.
Do you have any ideas regarding william and marthas address in 1841 .Brimfield Common?  common what? common ground,
common field? I am really puzzled over that.
Thanks again for the interest and all the help'   Joyce.

Hi.  Is there anywhere that I can get a copy of their marriage cert.?  I have purchased copies of certs after 1837. William and Elizabeth onwards.   That is the only way I know of to trace parents names and possibly birthplaces. If this question seems dumb I apologize,I really do have a lot to learn about research, right now I do it by trail and error.
Thank-you once again for all your help. you are a star!         Joyce
