This is possibly a stupid question - but here goes
Have just received a death certificate (1896) and the place of death is given as Brinklow R. L. (the L could possibly also be a D)
Can anyone tell me what the RL/RD might stand for?

could be registration district

Registration District (and sub-district) is Rugby though?
