Can anyone tell me if it’s possible to find the names of all the people living in a road

I'll throw in my three ha'pence worth. You can't find out the names of all the people living in a street as far as I know, but an electoral register would be the best start. At the time you mention, that would not include women or children.
E Yorks - Carver, Steels, Cross, Maltby, Whiting, Moor, Laybourn
W Yorks - Wilkinson, Kershaw, Rawnsley, Shaw
Norfolk - Carver, Dowson
Cheshire - Berry, Cooper
Lincs - Berry
London/Ireland/Scotland/Lincs - Sullivan
Northumberland/Durham - Nicholson, Cuthbert, Turner, Robertson
Berks - May
Beds - Brownell

No electoral registers were published in the years 1916 and 1917.
