Registry Office - Barrow Upon Soar

Hi Everyone

I sent for a wedding certificate for a marriage in 1894 and it said it had taken place at the registry office in Barrow Upon Soar district.  Does anyone know where this was.

My husband was born at Barrowon Saor and he was registered at Loughborough.  Not sure this helps

All I can find out is that it Close 1945.
Plus it's not coming up on the trade directories

But I can ask at the Records Office for you next week
to see if they can throw any light on it for you

It took some tracking down at the Records Office today

The Register Office was :~

Leicester Road Mountsorrel
C. Scott. Registrar.
