Thankyou so much Janis for finding the marriage details, very much appreciated!!! It definitely fits in as they called their first son Walter!

DS- Thankyou for the marriage and the census, it does look promising that that is 'my' Millicent there!!

Thankyou both!

Hi Emma,

Millicent Reynolds was my Great aunt Millie, she was born 1895 in Haswell, Durham, she married Issac Carrick and was my grandmothers sister Mary Jane Reynolds becoming a Boughen.

What is your connection?

Best regards

David

I have only joined this site today. Mary Ann Carrick and George William Laws, were my grandma and grandad on my fathers side. I remember my dad mentioning Isaac, although I never met him as far as I can remember. (I was born in 1950)
Please contact if you would like any information on this branch of the family.

My name is Maureen and Isaac was my grandmothers brother. My grandmother was Mary Ann Carrick and she married George William Laws. My dad often used to speak of Isaac, Millie, Walter and Mary. I was born in 1950 and I met Mary Carrick, but I don't remember meeting the others. I have only joined rootschat today and I am amazed at the names I recognise.
If you want any information on this branch of the family let me know.

Regards

Hi,

I just happened to Google, Carrick family, Seaham and came across this link.  Millicent and Isaac Carrick were my grandparents, I never met them as both died before I was born.

It is nice to read the bits of information what you have found, I have nobody to ask as my mam, (Milly and Isaac's daughter, Mary) died in 1999, so any other interesting info you have found let me know, I would be so grateful, thank you.

Lynne
