Hi Soulsister.
Only today have i been to the resting place of Sir Alfred Garfield Ness. He is buried with
William fletcher who died 12/11/1947 aged 74yrs
Nellie Ness who died 20/02/1976 aged 74yrs
Then the ashes of Herbert Ness who died 24/05/1994 aged 70.
The information i have was the deed holder was Nellie Ness and her address was 46 Edgehill rd, Scarborough and was the plot was purchased in 1947.
William or Bert as i knew him was not a blood relative but was like my grandad he lived with my nanna for many years.
Hope some of this helps

Juanita

Thank you for this information, Juanita  :)

May I ask who your nanny was?

It is nice to hear bits of a person's story, as it helps them to feel more human!

Kind regards,

Emma :)

Hi Emma my nanna was Dorothy Walker/Eastick depending which name she would use. They lived in Edgehill for a long time, Bert Ness was a big part of my life growing up 😍
