Can anyone help with the following please?

Eliza Playdon (nee Colerick) in 1891 Bristol area, age about 45, Widow, born Cradley, Hereford, died 1895 Barton Regis .

Possibly living with at least 1 child (or 5) Earnest age 4 born Bristol.
Scottish Borders - Wait Binnie Aitchison Whitelaw Sligo Fairgrieve Fairburn Robinson Plenderlieth Robson Broadwith Park Dickie Kerr Wilson Lockie Oliver Brown Scott.

On Ancestry they are mistranscribed as Slaydon!

and the 12 year olds name has been crossed out but it is a daughter and I think it might be Rosa?

Thank you they are the ones, Mary Eliza, William, Rose Ellen & Ernest.

There are 2 more Kate Emily age 16 b.Worcester & Alice C. age 14 b.Gloucester, probably put out to work as servants.
They may turn up as Kate married later.

Thank you very much for that info., Earnest is the one I was looking for mainly but the others bits I can pass on.

Earnest went into "Barnados" after his mother died then to Canada as a "Homeboy".

That's a pleasure Barry.

One of my aunts started as a nurse at a Barnados home when she left school in the 50s.  She tells some wonderful stories about Matron!

Do you know for a fact that he went to Barnado's?

It's just that there was a massive orphange/childrens home in Ashley Down, Bristol known as Muller's
