Yes it was and I realised he is not in Scunthorpe even though his family went there.
DURHAM - Johnson

sorry, nice to hear from you again.  Are you in the Scunthorpe or are you further afield?

The other person who got in touch was an ancestor of the brother of the Scunthorpe lot and I am the g.g.grandaughter of their sister.

Going round in circles my wife was a Pigdon before we married and yes they are the "Scunthorpe lot"
Are you an actual Pigdon or is it by marriage?
Are you part of the Northumberland arm ?
If not where are your section of the family from?
