« on: Friday 13 July 07 09:42 BST (UK) »
My GG Grandmother was Nancy Maria Anderson born abt 1836 from Curragh, her father was Samuel Anderson mother ? Nancy. My Nancy married Robert Mulholland from Eden Tamlaght O'Crilley in 1854 they came to Australia in 1855. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.

There are 2 townlands called Curragh in County Londonderry- one in Macosquin Parish and the other in Maghera Parish.
Three Edens here- Dungiven Parish, Learmount Parish & Tamlaght O'Crilly Parish.
Have lots of Anderson information for Aghadowey/Agivey area and don't think your Andersons were from Macosquin Parish, so it's probably the one in Maghera.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thanks Mary,
I have a copy of Robert and Nancy's marriage certificate.Nancy's fathers name is hard to decipher but it looks like Samuel to me but then again it could be James, two of their sons are called James and Samuel. My G Grandfather was Samuel. I have done alot of research on the Mulholland side and have even visited the Eden area.I would love to find out more about Nancy and her family.
Thank you for your reply,
Vickie
