Could you re-scan your picture at 300 dpi and in colour (data is lost in a black and white scan)

I am sorry, but I cannot scan in color because the photo is in BW. I tried scanning in 300dpi but roots said too big, but will try again.
Restore the best you can and I will try anothe rescan

It doesnt matter if the photo is a black and white one,
you can still scan in the color mode which picks up more detail

I tried to scan at 300 dpi and when I went to attach in roots I received a message photo too large, but I will have another go.
