I am researching the:

WOODMAN'S who moved from Great Rissington to Frocester, then onto Slimbridge and beyond.

JELLYMAN from Coaley who moved all over the place.

HOPKINS from Ashleworth and Westbury on Severn

CURTIS from Gloucester

WINTLE from Slimbridge (even though I can't find any other than Mary Wintle)

GILLETT from Moreton in Marsh

And a whole host of others including (but not exhaustively) NIBLETT, HEAVEN, COX, DRINKWATER, BAKER, POWELL, SMITH.

Umm basically it would seem that a good 3/4 of my ancestry (maternal and Paternal) comes from Gloucestershire.
Searching for

Woodman (Frocester, Great Rissington, Slimbridge, Aston, Birmingham, Bedford, St Albans)
Phillips (Aston, Birmingham)
Crow (King's Lynn, Hull, East Ham)
Gillett (Moreton in Marsh, East Ham)
Jellyman (Coaley, Birmingham Anywhere in Worcestershire or Staffordshire)
Hopkins (Ashleworth, Westbury on Severn)
Curtis (Gloucester, Aston, Birmingham)
Drinkwater (Castle Moreton, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire)
Jackson (Essex)

Plus many more

Diane,

I am new to this forum but I have been tracing my family history and Thomas Hatch was my gggrandad born 1827 in Hartpury - occupation gardener, married to Harriet Hatch born around 1829?
I have very little detail on Thomas or Harriet but I have got plenty of information on their children down to my granmother Florence Lilian Hatch.

I am also interested to find out about Harriet especially her maiden name and Thomas.

Pat :)
