you have been busy and for that I say abig thank you,..this lot will keep me going for awhile...I think 1841 census with Samuel & Elizabeth is actually the parents of Samuel who was Ernest's dad...and this has given me siblings for him...so once again thanks ..if you find anymore please send it through

Hi

Samuel is elusive....to say the very least......on the 1871 and 1881.  Did at first wonder if he had died sometime after 1871, but Eliza has young children with her in 1881, so scrapped that theory.  Will keep trying.

could Samuel have been in Northumberland during the census years do you think...would explain him missing on cornwall ones..

I've checked the whole of England for those two census and he's not showing up.  If he's with a work group at a mine then maybe he has been badly transcribed or just his initials were listed. 

Still looking.
