Old birth certificates - best way to scan/copy?
« on: Sunday 08 July 07 11:20 BST (UK) »
Hi All,
My cousin in the UK has some REALLY old birth and death certificates that are originals we think and are on a parchment type paper, he would like to email me copies but we are afraid to scan or photocopy them in case they go black or worse, is there away we can copy them and email without damage? He has lots so the thought of writing is daunting.
Simone.

a decent digital camera in close-up mode might be worth experimenting with ?
