Mahon Family Northampton Co Galway

I am researching the Mahon Family from Northampton.Emily Ann Mahon born abt 1841 married Michael Butler Esq(1816) Bunnahow in Nov 1861 Kinvara Chapel. Emily's parents were James Mahon esq and ?Sarah King. I would love any information on this family as Emily and Michael were my gggrandparents.I live in Australia.

I have some information about Mahons of Northampton, Galway if you are still interested. My g-g-g-g-g grandmother was Anne Mahon, sister of your Emily I think. I also live in Australia

The townland of Northampton consists of just over 112 acres and is located about 4km south east of the town of Kinvarra. The 1st editon OSI maps shows an House/Lodge & Estate - also named Northhampton.

Griffth's valuation show that a large part of the townland, i.e.  78 acres, is owned outright (in fee) by a James Mahon. Most of the remaining land in the townland is leased by James to a Thomas P. Mahon. This Griffith's entry is dated 1855.
