Emma Trist Clift Canada Passenger Look Up

Can anyone help with a look up for Emma Trist Clift born 1864 Brixham, Devon who for a number of years lived in Canada - but sorry I don't know where. She never married and later returned to Brixham (date unknown) and died in Brixham in 1955.

Sorry I forgot to say that she was in Brixham in 1891 as a servant at the Rock House, Brixham -  but I can not find her on the 1901 so she may have travelled to Canada any time after 1891.  And sorry she was not born in Brixham she was born in Plymouth Devon.

From the passenger lists on findmypast;
There is a Miss E Clift
Departing Liverpool on the Victorian 27 Apr 1905 fro Quebec/Montreal.
Her age is recorded as Adult. She was single and her occupation was transcribed as Spinster  although this is hard to read on the original.
A possible but wouldn't explain her being missing from UK 1901 census.

Dear All, Thank you for your help.
I did find Miss E Clift on the Victorian in 1905 from the Canadian Passenger List site you recommmended but I think this is possibly not her as the age given is only 22 and it looks like the lady listed was from Lincolnshire.
I think the arrival in 1894 is more likely but I could not find this entry on the link JaniceM posted.  The Clift family of Brixham were distantly related to the France family and the captain's name was France.  As for the destination being - Newfoundland, this is also likely as the port of Brixham had connections with this area.  But I can't find the Carthaginian entry on the Canada National Archives

Sometimes less is more on the LAC site, try putting in just the ship name and year of arrival.

There are only 8 dates to choose from for the Carthaginian and if it left July 31st the one it should be is the one arriving in Halifax NS August 12, 1894.

I can't see her or anyone by the name Clift on that ship, but "Ancestors on Board" does show that "Clift" arrived in 1894 on the Carthaginian.
