Hi Dave,
I am impressed with the photos. The sun was shining, wow, every time I have been to England it has been pouring.

Good.  Glad to hear it. Cathcart is in Glasgow.  SCOTLAND.
If you don't know that then you deserve to be rained on all the time. ::)

I do know that. But last time I was in Dumfries I had to cut everything short due to a train signalmen's strike. Of course I had a train pass.

Nice Photos Dave!

Did you have your wee kit-bag ready to dive across to Cathcart when the sun decided to shine?   ;)

I met up with an e-friend a couple of weeks ago and had arranged to take her to St. Ninians's Churchyard in Stirling. The main gate is always locked but there's a sneaky wee gate round the back so I thought we'd have no problem getting in - WRONG - it was locked too.

Not that it was a problem however - we both just scaled the back wall and got in that way. I'm sure a video will turn up someday on one of those 'You've been Framed' sort of programmes of two 'young' ladies heaving each other over a wall. Our antics must have been a right sight for sore eyes - her poor husband was mortified!

My motto - 'Where there's a will ..........!'   ;D

Good on yer!
I think we should have a new Scottish team game in the Olypics called "Clammerin' ower wa's"
We'd do alright.

And why is everyone commenting on the weather in Glasgow?  It's always lovely here.  The sun always shines on the righteous!!!!!

Hi Dave,

I'm at the coo's tail as usual!

I'm looking for Polloks who I think might be buried in Cathcart Churchyard.

Are you planning any return visits by any chance?

Anne
