Hi all,
Don't know if anybody could help me but is there a CD of the Yorkshire North Ridings in partically Barningham.
I'm trying to locate a Maria Stockdale - no other info I'm afraid other than she had a son in1810 called John.  I got a copy of his Marriage cert and theres no father so I'm guessing Maria is the one.
I've got a big sent in my head where I've been banging it against the wall!!!! ??? ???
Hope somebody can help
Many thanks
 ;D

The only help I offer for dented heads is as follows:

Mary Stockdale of Bainbridge bap a child John Stockdale at Askrigg Feb 24th 1812.

Bainbridge is some miles from Barningham but its all I can see in my records.
Percival, Hird, Heseltine, Wilson,  Horn(e), Thwaite, Storey, Iveson, Metcalfe, Dinsdale and Sunter and the farms and families of Bishopdale.

Hi Again,

Thanks for the info, and Pels - I have no problem with putting all that info together

Daniel1111 - It might be the same John - its just that on the 1851 census John's place of birth is Richmond. Not living in the UK I'm not too great with the geography of Yorkshire and getting really confused with the Ridings (think thats age though!!!)
Thank you both again
