sorry matey impossible to say....very little evidence.

my rationale for saying Fusilier, is that I have a memory of a badge with a St Georges cross and ? a figure of him, as one of the "old" badges used by the Regt...I was stationed with them "several" years ago as a VERY young soldier...

Anyone got the Collar Dog book by Colin Churchill??

I think it's called The History of The British Army Collar Badge...
One more charge and then be dumb,
When the forts of Folly fall,
May the victors when they come
Find my body near the wall.

Hi,
Have been looking everywhere at badges and the only one that I think it looks like is the Post Office, does this make any sense?
I have found his death and service no. so we will apply to Glasgow for his service record, but I have heard this could take as long as a year

Goodness me!!

The queue seems to be growing in length somewhat.

Anyhow, I can hardly wait to see the outcome, mind and get back to us.  :D
