Hi mary - no, i did not know about this traitor Lundy. i wonder if he might be the source of the story. all i know is that my gt aunt eileen b1918, is supposed to have had an ancestor who was hung on the walls at derry. one story says he stole sheep - the other that he was a double traitor i.e. hung by his own people!
i am only connected through marriage but this seemed like a very interesting tale worth investigating.
