Hi I live in waimate and will take some photo's if it is needed. Also we have a Quinn's Arcade - the first shopping centre or something in New Zealand. It is an old building just purchased by the Waimate Project committee with the thought of doing it up and reopening it. I'm not informed further. However we have a really good Musem if you contact them they may be able to help.

If you go here  http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/read/AUS-VIC-GOLDFIELDS/2007-08/1187867557 then you will see that someone in Christchurch, NZ is also onto the case of the Quinns.  But I can't find the original post which would have the email address you would want to contact the person! >:(
