THOMAS PROFFITT
« on: Thursday 21 June 07 18:09 BST (UK) »
Hya,

Looking for any information on a gentleman called Thomas Proffitt who dissapeared allegedly to America leaving behind his wife and five children.  The year would have been somewhere between 1891 and 1901.

Family whispers have said that he joined a musical band but that is the last anyone heard about him.....whether or not this is true or whether or not this was a story introduced by a family mortified by a roving husband and father we cannot be sure however nothing more was noted of him in UK.

I have no info regarding where he may have gone to or even which port he left England by, (probably Liverpool), but hopefully someone may know something.

Thanks in anticipation,

Michelle
