Hi all. I've recently found out that my great grandmother was a Rescala, the surname may have roots in the Rescorle/Rescala name/place. My DNA shows 25% Cornish, which I'm interpreting as my great grandfather also being Cornish, but we don't have a name for him, and my grandfather was adopted by an Alford. I've only found mention of one Rescala in Cornwall in recent years, doing a bit of Googling. Anyone heard of this version of the name? Nadelik Lowen to all! Adrian
