Hello,
I am new to the site, after having joined when an article caught my attention.

The article on here relates to a Mr Samuel Round, organist in Portsea but originally from the West Midlands. One of the members commenting is a Cheryl Lane who says that Samuel was her great grandfather.  I have tried to respond on the thread but I don't appear able to.  I too am a great grand daughter through his youngest son, my grandad, Frank Swinchatt Round, who was only 3 months old when his father, Samuel, died. 

I am hoping that Cheryl will get to see this message.

Yes this was the thread and I am aware that it is a long shot that I will get a reply from her but it is always worth a try.
