Minnie Olive Loddy

Can anyone help me in my search for details of my paternal grandmother MINNIE OLIVE LODDY and her family. At the time of her wedding at St Peters, Pimlico on 10th Nov. 1907 she was a spinster aged 28, no profession, and lived at 7 Belgrave Mews East. Her father was William Henry Loddy and she married a Maurice Samuel Watts.

She is not shown anywhere in the 1901 Census and I cannot trace her family anywhere. In her early life she may have travelled extensively abroad thus indicating some wealth or perhaps a maritime connection. By 1931 she lived in Barnet, Herts and when her husband died around that time she was extremely poor and had to give my father (her son) away. She died in April 1966 in Barnet.

These are the only LODDYS that I can find with Devonport connections on the 1851 Devon Census.  Perhaps William aged 34 in 1881 was mistaken about his age?

Unless henry age 4 is william henry .because his dads name was william they might have used his middle name to make life easier.

i have a charlotte loddy my great great grandmother married robert effer exeter st thomas the apostle 26 oct 1828. her parents were jane hosgood and john loddy they married 7 jul 1808 in crediton devon. charlotte was born 1812 in london i do not know where exactly. children john born 1830 exeter,james 1835 exeter, edward 5 april 1841 in paignton, martha 1845 paignton, robert 1846 paignton, sarah eliz 1848 paignton, andh william henry born 1850 paignton devon.
