I have found a couple who may be Francis and Elizabeth in 1861......I searched through all the Elizabeths born 1837 Hampshire + or - 5 years!!!! Only doubt could be the birthplace of Frank......

RG10/1154/ 57/18

22 Trinity Street
Fareham, Hampshire, Engalnd

Sarah Stingnell 48 Head Wid Lodging House Keeper born Fareham, Hampshire
Frank Stingnell 19  U son Grocer's Shopman born Fareham, Hampshire
Alfred W Morris 36 U  Goldsmith's Shopman born Hastings Sussex
Frank Buckley 41 Marr Naval Instructor/ Naval Archivist born Ireland
Elizth Buckley 33  Marr Wife born Porstmouth, Hants

Frank is spelled Franck on the image and Alfred Morris is transcribed as Monis!

Could this be them? A boarding house would not be a good place for a child.

A possibility for Mary Buckley's husband....

Death, Jeremiah Buckley, Ormskirk, December 1/4 1847, vol 21 pg 429

Although I cannot find him on the 1841, neither can I find any of the others...

Hello again !

Wow - thanks so much for all this..I have advised the Lancashire board I will stay on the London board as this is where most of the info is....so far the censuses have proved a godsend - I am a tad worried about the Frank and Elizabeth in 1861 as he was born in Ireland...1820 it seems, whereas the Frances Travers BUCKLEY who married NICHOLAS was born 1830 ( from his death in Omskirk at any rate )......I have managed to unearth some amazing links to the WINTERBOTTOM and MINSHULL families but am still working on them...I am now wondering if Mary ?? possibly MINCHALL married Robert BUCKLEY in 1817..but Jeremiah is also a name from Ireland.

I have only just found the marriage in 1869 so will let the lady who I am doing this for know to order it - forthwith!

More soon hopefully

Kind regards and a million thanks

I am researching Thomas Newton John Buckley (1832-1886) who I believe is the brother of Francis Travers Buckley (1830-1876). Are you able to share any information on their parents who I believe were Robert Buckley and Mary Newton married in 1825 Cheadle, Cheshire, England.  Any assistance you could provide would be appreciated.
