http://sniff.numachi.com/pages/tiFERRYMAN.html thats a link to the lyrics of that song, have heard it but not into ballads or rebel songs so cant say much more about it really, dont know a whole heck about Rugby either but asked hubby who informs me thats when the matches for the start 6 nations or something start so why not? that way you catch any rootschat rugby fans here as well, but I do think February would be a good month, ask and see what other people think, we can see about that hall then and start a bit of planning for a good evening few speakers bit of music etc, beginning or end of february would be good as I will probably be away celebrating "reaching a certain age"  for the middle bit of Feb, Damsel

maybe she's decided she did'nt like us !! giggles well we were thinking and it seems mad to leave it so long and then september is just after hols and just before Christmas really so peole might balk at the time, what about february. itsnot near any holidays so might be a great month for it ?

Damsel,
We didn't say anything to upset Moscan did we ??? I don't think we did as she gave me a lovely hug before she left. Did you get one too? She was online yesterday but hasn't posted any messages since her last one on this thread. You don't seriously think she didn't like us do you?

These are the dates of Ireland's home games in February.

Saturday 2nd February  2.00pm: Ireland v Italy
Saturday 23rd February 5.00pm: Ireland v Scotland

I think if Ireland's name comes first that means a home game but perhaps you'd check that with your hubby.

Good thinking there Damsel. I wish I had your powers of observation :D I know there are loads of Ulster Scots but I'm not too sure about Ulster Italians ... I'm inclined to agree with you that there are more Scottish RootsChatters than Italian ones ... maybe some are Scots Italians though :D

Greetings ALL

YES I DID LIKE YOU>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> And cannot wait to meet up with you all soon...

I am so sorry that I haven't been in touch sooner but.....

My Computer Crashed :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Been out of contact  it was sooooooooo frustrating... and then some major running around to do with hubby...

Combining a meet with a match... hmmmm could be interesting... but... and hopefully not insulting anyone but Rugby soooooooooo very important to me... may not be around on rugby weekends... I would be up for a meet though.. will get my driver out so I can have a few drinks this time....

The weekend of the Scottish match is my birthday weekend... gutted that Ireland playing the Italians at home... love the Rome trip... hehehe... mega shopping... but then think of a trip to Cardiff and Twickenham... that could be fun...

Now guys do I post those Pics....

Best wishes and again apologies for the delay... blame technology..

Mo

Hi Mo,

It's great to see you online again.

If you have my pic I've no objection to it being posted.

As far as I'm aware the February dates are merely suggestions. Hopefully other members will notice the posts and make their suggestions. It would be great to see more members attending a Meet in Dublin.

Chris.

May I have a long straw please ??? I hate making executive decisions :D

I wonder if we should have a thread headed Dublin Meet 2008 as we've agreed the year if nothing else.
