As I have been asleep while this has been going on, I would also like to add my apologies to Caz and Poll AND anyone else I may have offended by replying tongue in cheek to Mudge's  innocent quip. It was certainly said in light jest with nothing more intended.  I totally agree - this is not a race, we are all here because we enjoy doing the restores/colourings and for self improvement.
<quote>Hi Caz, got your PM. Yes lets hope the message gets through to whom it may concern </quote>
Only one other person in this equation :-\  Perhaps its best, for the kind folk who post their photos that this is keep off board and I will be happy to receive a PM from anyone who has an issue.

Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.

Hi jackh,

Best regards George
Scan at 300 plus for restores please. Scan at larger dpi for small photos. Don't forget to crop the scanner bed out! (Them's the white bits)
Please feel free to alter any work by me for the benefit of the Poster.

Thank you George,
Another expert enhancement. From having only one photo of Thomas Pearce I now seem to have a whole gallery. You are all so generous.
