Walker Family Whicham / Sylecroft
« on: Tuesday 12 June 07 18:10 BST (UK) »
Can any one help with information on the Walker family, my ancestor is Thomas Walker 1841, census shows him living at Sylecroft with parents, father is William Walker, mother is Franny Walker (nee Brocklebank) also present in the house hold is grandparent William Brocklebank.
I am looking for other brothers / sisters to Thomas, who having married Ann Atkinson eventually moved up to Picket Howe Farm outside of Egremont and then into Golden Lion Whitehaven. Does any one have any info on Kellet House in Whicham, i think one of his brothers adopted this small mansion.

Any information further back on the Brocklebank side would be welcome

Thanks
