James is working at Caldecote Hall, Caldecote, Warwickshire, owned by Harry and Annie Townsend.  There is a large list of staff all living in various parts of the Hall.

I still can't see anything for Lizzie.

Have you found her in the the previous census? Was she always known as Lizzie,  or by the proper name of Elizabeth?

Have you got any of the children's birth certificates to confirm Susan's maiden name?

Thanks for the info-all vry helpful.   The marriage for John and Susan is correct her maiden name was Mullard-I have the marriage certificate for them. I have not as yet got the childrens birth certificates but intend to get them soon. I think the birth for Lizzie is most likely her She is on the 1871 census age 3 but not the 1881 is it possible she had died?

John had a twin sister EMMA I dont know if she married

Johns father was Richard and mother was Elizabeth Marygold on the 1851 census they have children

You can check for a death by searching the incomplete BMD index at Free BMD or the complete version of the index is available to search at Ancestry.  You will have to search year by year, quarter by quarter, and it can take some time but worth it in the end.
