i have a feeling that the jane we are refering to is

jane buchan born 27/7/1857 crimond, aberdeen

daughter of george and jane turriff.

having the census results finalises this thread for me and i will be able to go to bed and sleep!!!!lol

thanks ann pal,

that is enough for me now, a whole lot of family for james to research.

there seems to be a lot of research going on with the summers and the duthie family going on, but i will leave that one with james.

well done ann, good teamwork, it seems to me that the jane buchan post i made maybe right after all, can only tell from the death cert of jane.
