William Cawood-Otley

I have got back as far as William and his marriage to Sarah Ann Baldwin in 1837 and now I am trying to find his parents.

On IGI there is a William c1816 with mother Elizabeth (no father) William is given as being born in Otley.
The Anglican church is All Saints on Kirkgate/Burras Lane.
Can anyone help with this

In 1841 census a William Cawood aged ca 25 and wife Sarah ca 20 (but ages rounded down in 1841) both born Yorkshire were living in Headingley, Leeds with children Elizabeth and Edward.  In 1851 they were there, aged 36 and 34 with additional children Mary, Sarah, William and Thomas.  William born Otley, Sarah in Yeadon and children all in Kirkstall.
Baptism at Otley 23 Feb 1817 of William s/o Elizabeth Cawood would seem to be the one.  But there were several Elizabeth Cawoods around in Otley at the time.

Thankyou Cybermouse, my Cawoods moved to Kirkstall then Bradford around that time. I dont have an Edwin.
However if your Cawoods are traceable to Otley do you have Elizabeth there, I am guessing she may have been born between 1795 and 1801. She was a single mother to my William born 1816
