Christopher & Emma are still at that address in 1871 - with 2 new Boarders - cant see Agusta/Amy or Adelaide ... and the Yeovil connection is still unexplained ?

But Adelaide marries in 1880 ... in Bath to a Wilkins

Thank you all for your replies.
It just doesn't seem to add up...
I got her name from her daughters(my gr grandmothers) birth certificate this morning.
Her eldest Charley was born in Yeovil c.1877 and then she moved to Wroughton by 1881. George Stratford always lived in Wroughton (census)
and I wondered if Charley had a different father and then she moved here?!
Newfy- that could be them in the 1861 census, Hannah, Adelaide, Augusta all family names. I noticed that it said she was born in Swindon 1881. I am very confused.

A way forward might be to obtain the 1857 Birth Cert of Adelaide - see who her parents were - if they werent the Chris' and Emma in 1861 census, then the 'Boarders' relationship is correct .... and you're back to Square one..... altho you will have the actual parents names to work with, which will help if the girls are sisters....

If it IS them, and the mother is formerly Dur(r)ant, then that marriage is correct.

And also safe to assume that Agusta / Amy was born out of wedlock, but at least shares one parent with Adelaide ....
