I an looking for any information on my grandfather Robert Hamilton’s parents,
George Hamilton born Glasgow, and Mary Anne Forbes-Brophy born West Linton.
Robert was born Dec. 1884 Forres Elgin on both his birth and death certificates which I have his mother is Mary Anne Forbes-Brophy and she married on 15th Oct. 1873 in Glasgow
He had 3 brothers,
James born 1877? West Linton, cant find cert
George born 1878 Cromdale Elgin I have birth cert. same name of mother but married on 15th Oct. 1875 Glasgow
William born 1893? Tarbolton Ayrshire cant find cert
On Roberts marriage cert. in 1907 which I have his parents are still alive but his mother is Mary Ferguson
