My Illman family-what year?

I would like to know when the photos were taken.

Aw Jean these are a treat for the eyes...you can expect a good response from these....how lucky you are to have such a such superb pieces of social history  8) They look like thay may have been taken around 1905-1910

Thanks TT and Jim.
But I would lik to pin down the year then I might be able to put names to the people on the pics.They were my grandmother's family who as you can see had a nursery in Strood Kent.There is a booklet on the nursery and it said they sold plants and flowers to Charles Dickens who lived in the area at Gads Hill Place in Higham.
TT its good that I am a Corrie fan too and I know about Richard Hillman,I lived in Bolton before moving to Perth Australia and I do have UK TV on my Foxtel the same as your Sky .
By the way I think one of the men on photos is my greatgrandfather-Richard Illman!

Try contacting the nearest library in Strood , maybe they have some local history for the place. You never know your luck.

Have done that,they sent the booklet to my Dad which I read on my last trip home.I was born in Strood,so know thw area well.

Hello Jean,
Wonderful photos you have there!  You do know that the first one is actually a stereo view, don't you?  If you're like me, you can get the 3-D / stereo effect by looking at the photos and going cross-eyed, but they were designed to be put into a special stereo card viewer. 
It's difficult to date the first photo, but the second one looks about 1910-1915 or so judging by the little girl's dress and hat. The first pic could be around that same time.
